This Privacy Notice describes the privacy practices of KasaHub, LLc. d/b/a ShipKasa and its Affiliates (collectively, “ShipKasa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and our obligations regarding the collection, processing, and storing of certain information collected about our customers (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) who use our sites, products, and services (collectively, our “Services”).

We at ShipKasa take the privacy of our Customers and their consumers very seriously, and we are committed to safeguarding that privacy by complying with applicable data privacy laws. This Notice (defined below) explains how ShipKasa processes personal data, which is data that can be used to identify, locate, or contact an individual either used alone or when combined with other personal or identifying information (“Personal Data”), or as otherwise defined in applicable data privacy laws.

We are the data controller if you are a Customer, and for certain processing activities if you are a consumer, for example, including conducting analytics, improving our services, investigating crime. We are a data processor of consumer personal data when we are providing our Services.

By using or accessing the Services, you hereby acknowledge this Notice and any other policies that may be applicable, including but not limited to ShipKasa’s Terms of Use. This Notice is subject to change from time to time, and we will post any changes on this page.

1. What Personal Information We Collect and How We Use It

ShipKasa receives, processes, and stores any information you provide to us, as well as any information received or recorded automatically when using the Services or interacting with our third-party service providers (“Partners”).

We typically collect and process the following types of Personal Data:

3. The purpose of collection

ShipKasa collects your Personal Data in connection with your use of the Services. Personal Data is typically collected to do the following:

  • Provision of the Services: facilitating shipping, shipping insurance, creating labels, tracking shipments, address validation
  • Enable users to create a ShipKasa account and link third-party carrier or marketplace accounts
  • Provide customer service and technical support
  • Personalize your ShipKasa experience
  • Conduct analytics on use of ShipKasa’s services, and develop and improve ShipKasa’s products and services
  • Aggregating and de-identifying personal data so that it can no longer be reasonably linked to you or your device, including for the purpose of conducting analytics and improving our services
  • Send direct marketing emails to business contacts, in accordance with applicable legal requirements
  • Advertise ShipKasa products and services to you on other sites
  • Keep records including, to comply with laws, regulations, and policies
  • Monitor, investigate, prevent and detect fraud, potential criminal activity, or breach of carrier regulations, and to prevent harm to Customer, ShipKasa and ShipKasa’s affiliates, and to third parties

4. Who do we share your personal data with

ShipKasa may share Personal Data with the following entities:

Our Partners, Agents, and Advisors ShipKasa may disclose data to freight or mail carriers (e.g. USPS), e-commerce platforms (e.g. Magento) integrated with ShipKasa, and service providers such as customer service providers (e.g. ZenDesk), including to perform tasks on its behalf and to facilitate the provision of our services. If ShipKasa receives data from Amazon Marketplace Web Service (MWS) API or related Amazon APIs, we share such data with third-party service providers solely to operate or improve our Services, and not for any unrelated purpose.
Third Parties in Connection with a Business Transfer In the course of its business, ShipKasa may enter into a business transfer transaction (such as a merger or acquisition, or investment process), or may otherwise go through a change in control, cessation of business activities, or bankruptcy, involving all or a portion of its business/assets. In these transactions or activities, Personal Data may be considered an asset which could be assessed, disclosed, bought, sold, or otherwise transferred to or acquired by another entity.
Third Parties in Connection with Investigations, Safety and Complying with Legal Obligations ShipKasa may access, read, preserve, or disclose any Personal Data that we believe in good faith is necessary in order to (1) comply with laws, regulations, or court orders or directions from regulators; (2) enforce or apply ShipKasa’s Terms of Use or other agreements; (3) protect the rights, property, or safety of ShipKasa, its employees, Customers, or others; (4) for the purpose of investigating potential criminal activity.

We may also provide to a third party (a) de-identified Personal Data, or (b) aggregated usage data from the Services. De-identified or aggregated data is disclosed in a way that does not and cannot reasonably identify an individual or device.

In certain cases, ShipKasa will retain Personal Data only for as long as the associated account(s) remains active, or as may be necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, policies, or agreements.

Security, Retention, and Compliance: ShipKasa maintains strict security standards to protect the information entrusted to us. In addition to industry-standard safeguards, we:

  • Encryption: Encrypt personal data in transit and at rest using modern protocols.
  • Access Controls: Require unique log-ins, strong passwords, and multi-factor authentication for system access.
  • Monitoring & Testing: Conduct regular security monitoring, audits, and vulnerability assessments to detect and prevent misuse.
  • Retention & Deletion: Retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with law. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with recognized industry standards.
  • Incident Response: Maintain a documented incident response plan. If a data incident occurs, we will notify affected parties and regulators in line with our legal obligations.

ShipKasa also maintains internal Acceptable Use and Data Protection Policies that apply stricter technical, operational, and compliance requirements to our employees, contractors, and developers who process data on our behalf. These policies include obligations around data minimization, transparency, and lawful use of personal data. These technical and organizational measures ensure that Personal Data is protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, or destruction. If ShipKasa receives Personal Data via the Amazon MWS API or related Amazon APIs, such data is retained and handled in accordance with Amazon’s Data Protection Policy.

We follow industry standard methods of protecting Personal Data in transit and at rest, and we ensure that our Partners also have adequate measures in place to protect Personal Data, pursuant to applicable laws and regulations. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, no method of transmission over the Internet or other method of storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your Personal Data.

7. Unsubscribe from marketing communications

In accordance with applicable laws, you may receive emails and phone calls from ShipKasa with news, product updates, event announcements and other communications. If you no longer wish to receive these emails or phone calls from us (except for emails related to the completion of your registration, correction of user data, change of password, and other similar communications essential to your transactions through the Services), you can opt out at any time by: (i) emailing us at support@ShipKasa.com or (ii) verbally communicating your decision to opt-out during a phone call you receive from us.

While current privacy laws may not require us to provide specific user rights, we’re committed to transparency and accountability. 10. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. This Privacy Policy currently applies to ShipKasa’s U.S.-based users and operations. If we expand internationally in the future, we will update this policy to reflect any changes in applicable law or data processing practices.

We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app alerts. Continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of any updates.
